Pemakanan Berkhasiat

I cannot stress enough on this fact.

"Makanlah makanan berkhasiat.
Banyakkan buah2an dan sayur2an
."

Many studies found that anti-oxidant intake in men and women increased the chance of successful pregnancy.

So much so that many infertility doctors now have been prescribing multivitamins (since it contains these anti-oxidants in one pil/capsule).

But, why not eat food that contain anti-oxidants?
Fresh and healthy food.

The higher the ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbant Capacity) value, the more potent its antioxidant activity.

So, let me suggest some of the fruits and vegetables that we can find in most supermarkets:

Fruits (ORAC value in every 100g of it)
1. Prunes (5800)
2. Raisins (2800)
3. Strawberries (1500)
4. Plums (950)
5. Red grapes (740)
6. Oranges (750)
7. Kiwi (610)
8. Banana (210)
9. Apples (210)
10. Apricot (180)
11. Peach (170)
12. Pear (110)
13. Watermelon (100)
14. Honeydew (100)


As for vegetables (ORAC value per 100g)

1. Spinach (1260)
2. Broccoli (890)
3. Onions (tapi tak kan nak makan bawang je kot?)
4. corn (400)
5. Eggplant (390)

Pendek kata, makanan yang berwarna-warni: hijau, merah, oren, hitam, dsb.

Chocolate yang berwarna coklat tu pun ada anti-oxidant tau.

Tapi, kalau susah2 tu, makan je la multivitamin sebiji setiap hari. Cuma, hasilnya tidaklah sebaik makanan segar. Amalkan untuk 3 bulan dan lihatlah hasilnya, semoga ada rezeki.

But

Becareful.

Don't just assume everything is safe.

Hidup kena dalam kesederhanaan.

Makan ikut keperluan.

Begitu juga dos vitamin yang diambil, jgn berlebihan, ia boleh membahayakan terutamanya yg bersifat larut lemak (Vitamin E dan Vitamin A).

Jgn lupa makan asid folik ya.
